2017 Art Summary

Yaayyy my fav part of the year I always like to reflect on what I've done over the year ^^

January: At the time, I actually started off the year really well! I was super proud of a lot of drawings that I did in January, and I finally got more comfortable coloring, so I drew a lot (always a good thing lol) ^^ I think the drawing I chose for this month is still one of my highest faved uploads, and I'm glad <3 I rly stepped out of my comfort zone to make it.
February: I think in February I was able to make more art friends *_*9 I don't think I really had many before then, so it was nice lol. I learned a lot this year from other artists and improved a bunch because of it I think. I still quite like the drawing from February (tho ofc I would still change some things lol).
March: THISSS month I started to experiment a lot and also paint more. I had always "looked" at other artists works, but I think I really started to pick out what I liked from certain drawings of artists that I admire, and tried to work out how they did it. This was a huge thing to learn, and I still do it now! The drawing for March is only a rough drawing, but I think it still encompasses the month's art journey.
April: April was kinda weird lolol, because it looks like I took a break from typical anime to do something (a little bit) different. I painted a whole bunch. i did a lot of doodles. Good month for figuring out new styles and techniques
May: In May it was kinda the same as April, but I drew less. I still studied other artists works a lot. I was really into doing redraws. That's pretty much it :-D
June: Nearing Summer of course I got to do a lot more works ^_~ I did a looot of doodles, but also some nice finished works, including this drawing. I spent a lot of time on some T_T/ Good times. Lots of painting
July: Summer!! I did even more paintings in July, and a few style experiments. This was also the month that I switched to Clip Studio Paint and never looked back to Sai. The drawing I chose for July is still one of my all time favorite drawings for this year, because it was fun to paint and it has a lot of meaning to me *v*/ Also HANDs //drool
August: August was mostly doodles, but there was a good amount of them. I was getting ready to start a new part of life & go off to school far away, so I didn't have too much time to finish anything. I think I mostly did a lot of studies and doodles. 
September: This drawing was a rough drawing for a good friend. I didn't get to draw much at all, let alone finish anything because I was so busy.
October: During October, there is not much in my digital art folder, but I did 2 weeks worth of Inktober! It was my first time, and I met the goal that I set for myself to do at least 14 days of it at the beginning of the year :") So happy.
November: This is actually the only drawing I have from November T_T Although I'm not too sad, because I got to do Annielender as a guest artist for Yami!!! I was really happy to do it, and it was lots of fun.
December: This month ahhh I think I have been able to make a lot of nice doodles and progress. I think it's so good that the final month of the year, I still managed to improve (despite not being able to draw much these past 4 months) x) During break I have been drawing for several hours most days; gotta set a good foundation for 2018 8)

//pheW OVERALL I am happy with my progress this year. I'm looking back at these drawings tho and it seems like FOREVER ago that I drew them, but also like it could've been yesterday =_=
Now onward to 2018 -- I really hope I will be able to draw a decent amount next year!! That's the only thing that scared me T_T I guess I will try and make time no matter what

Next year I would like to draw guys STILL (I did a few studies this year but didn't keep this goal lol), work on backgrounds/environments, and just try to draw as much as possible *_*
